Hey there, I'm Evan
I leaned in before it felt comfortable.
The way we build software is changing faster than any of us planned for. I’m a Staff Software Engineer across web, iOS and Android, and I’ve been turning what I learn into agent skills, test suites and tools anyone can install, so a whole team gets the lift, not just me.
Things I've made
A few projects I'm proud of

Irie Run every coding agent side by side.
Open-source terminal app I founded. Runs any coding agent on any model, cloud or local, each task in its own git worktree, tracked in one view. Early and unreleased; builds from source.
- AI agents
- Open source
Everyday Health Signals Walmart's personalized nutrition hub.
Early engineer from beta through public launch on walmart.com, growing it from 0 to 100,000 users. Reorders, purchase insights, favorites, goals and nutrition deep-dives.

Agentic dev tooling Skills and agents that make a whole team faster.
170+ reusable agent skills in five bundles and a multi-agent plugin, installed and extended by a 12-person team. About 40% of weekly token throughput runs through lower-cost sub-agents.

E2E regression suite 263 Playwright tests guarding production.
41 specs with three-layer verification (UI, API and feature flags), parallelized across an account pool with self-healing auth, run every weekday against staging and prod.

Ressio $150K in recurring revenue in year one.
Construction management software for small home builders. Founding engineer from first commit through launch: client selections, messaging, daily logs and real-time cost tracking. It reached $150K in live, active recurring revenue in its first year.

This website A cozy Hugo site, written in Go templates.
Hand-built templates, client-side search from a build-time JSON index, and GitHub Actions deploys to Pages.

The path so far
Where I've worked
2026 – now Founder Irie Founder of Irie, an open-source terminal app that runs every coding agent side by side, on any model, cloud or local.
- Building Irie: one calm view to run and track Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI and local models, each task in its own git worktree.
- Open source, with contributor payouts set by a published value-stake formula if money ever arrives.
2024 – now · Remote Staff Frontend Software Engineer (contractor) Walmart Global Tech Early engineer on Everyday Health Signals, from beta to 100,000 users, and the AI-powered health swap in Sparky.
- Led scoping and built the health swap feature for Sparky, Walmart's AI shopping assistant, in React/TypeScript on web and Swift/UIKit on iOS.
- Designed an agentic-AI tooling platform: a two-tier skill system that gives coding agents team conventions, API contracts and release workflows.
- Made AI-assisted delivery measurable with per-turn token attribution, and cut spend with multi-agent delegation.
- Founded the team's E2E practice: a Playwright suite with UI, API and feature-flag verification, run against staging and prod.
- Led a phased migration to Walmart's design system with zero production regressions.
- Built identity verification, consent and partner access-code flows.
2022 – 2023 Founding Engineer Ressio Software Founding engineer on construction management software for small home builders: $150K in active recurring revenue in year one.
- Took the product from first commit through launch and its first paying builders.
- React, Node.js and TypeScript across the product: client selections, messaging, daily logs and real-time cost tracking.

- Welcome in Why this little corner of the internet exists, and what you’ll find here.
- The job is changing, so I leaned in Skills instead of prompts, parallel agents instead of one chat, and a team that started contributing back.
- You'd think outgrowing your job means you stop doing it For me it meant the opposite. When AI tooling frees up your week, spend it on things other people use.
